Jackson & Jeremiah go with their Daddy to monthly woodworking and building project clinics for kids. Every first Saturday, Home Depot has a fun project. This past month it was Pencil Boxes, which the boys have made into Treasure Chests to keep their hot wheels, collecting/trading cards and the like.
Every second Saturday of the month, Lowes holds their kid's clinics, too. They also include an apron, a certificate and a sew-on patch that corresponds with the project they worked on. Last month it was race cars. And this month they made wood boats that really float!
Through this they have also learned how to sew and have become quite proud of their abilities. They look forward to these clinics and collecting the badges, too.
