Photography Class~Explora Science Club
This weeks Explora Science Club was a fun Photography lesson. Jackson was thrilled because he loves taking photos and experimenting with angles, light, and subjects.
First the children created an artistic scene on clear plastic using tracing art mounts, colored transluscent paper, bubble wrap, toy animals, jewelry, etc. Then they laid the clear plastic scene on top of photo paper and placed inside their photo exposure box.
Shining a tiny flashlight, briefly on the scene, exposed the photo.
Then everyone had the opportunity to develop their own photos in the 4 chemical baths followed by a final rinse and a squeegie to dry.
It was fascinating to see all the different photo creations and Jackson and Jeremiah thought it was fun to experiment with different subjects and exposures.
