Typical Explora Science Day

Jackson experimenting with air pressure on various metals
Jeremiah creating different forms of sails that will work successfully to 'catch and harness' the wind.
Jenna had a blast trying to see how far and wide the air blaster could blow her balloon.
Jackson assisted in Jenna's discovery by positioning the air blaster at various angles to move the balloon in different directions and to try and keep it afloat longer.
As soon as the balloon floated down, Jenna placed it back in the air flow.
Jackson 'testing' the electric voltage
Jackson & Jeremiah learning about commerical electrical systems involving 'step up' and step down' power lines and voltages.
Jackson spent alot of time at this display trying out the individual electric systems to see how many could drain the voltage and testing to see when the system needed to be stepped up or stepped down.
Jeremiah got a kick out creating electromagnetic experiments through this display
Jackson's always game for fun and photography. What a mug! I love that boy!
One of Jackson and Jeremiah's friends, Andy met up with us to do some fun Explora stuff together.
Even though he has ridden this before, I had not been around to take any photos, so Jackson wanted me to take some pics of him on the Balance Bike this day. What a cool son, I have!
He was very focused.
Jeremiah, Jenna and I cheered him on.
He was as cool as a cucumber. I would have been so nervous!
All the boys went outside to build some structures on the Construction Deck.
These building materials remind me of Lincoln Logs. The boys built a neat log house, a chair and a corral. I chatted with Teresa, another homeschooling mama, while her sons and mine played. Jenna played peek-a-boo in another log house on the deck.
