Happy New Year!!

We were supposed to spend a fun New Years with our friends in the East Mountains, but the main route, I-40 was closed due to icey roads and this crazy snow/ice fog that is shrouding our area. It was as thick as soup up here where we are. We couldn't even see our neighbor's houses across the street!

So, we hunkered down to enjoy a good, old fashioned family New Years celebration and watched some rental movies, ate lots of goodies, oohed and aahed at fireworks and cheered Dick Clark and the ball drop during the New Years Rockin' Eve Celebration.

Dick Clark on the TV. Amazing that he had a stroke, but still looks so great. It's really wonderful seeing him back for the New Years TV Special. It wasn't the same without him last year.
