Konga Injury!

While Jeremiah was doing his Occupational Therapy appt, Jackson and I played Donkey Konga 2 together. It looks likes such a silly, fun, simple game....but don't let it fool you!
The object is to watch the screen keeping track of your line where pink, red and yellow targets, along with a few various other bonus targets, of which I cannot recall what they are called, are flying along at a quick pace. The goal is to zap out the targets by hitting the drum or clapping your hands. The problem arises when you realize that you have to remember what action to do for each color and type/shape of target. For instance, for the pinks and reds, you must hit the top of the Konga Drum, for the yellows, hit the bottom section of the drums. And for the dynamite targets, clap your hands loudly!

So you end up clapping and pounding on the drums with your opponent sitting beside you doing the same. It's pretty noisy. But it's very funny, too. Jackson played about 5 rounds, each time we ended up tying! I guess we are just so much alike. hehe

And then finally I had to call it quits when I injured myself on the drum. Yep! I injured myself playing a video game. Crazy but true. I have the finger bruise to prove it! hehe

And what was so funny, is that we were playing the 2 and 3 banana levels. Can't even imaginehow dangerous the 5 or 6 banana levels must be! Ack!

Jackson has the most sweetest smiles. I just love that boy of mine!
Jax took this photo of me doing the free play on Donkey Konga. Jenna even had fun playing the Sticker Free Play level.
There it is! Can you see my bruised finger? It really did hurt, too.
