inside the Bio Park Botanical Gardens, within the magical Children's Fantasy Garden. The weather couldn't have been better, especially after all the cold and snow we've had.
The gardens were crowded when we first arrived, but by the time the party started, everyone else cleared out and we basically had the place to ourselves!
Jax and Jem had the best time with their friends and we had a Piratey good time together!
Digging in the Castle Turret for buried gold nuggets!
Jax & Jem's good buddy, Ian.

Jackson took a little 'swim' in the moat surrounding the castle walls, trying to help Ian find his dropped gold nuggets.

The Pirate Maps we created were a HUGE hit with all the kids as they went racing around the Children's Fantasy Garden hunting for hidden treasure and jewels among the giant pumpkin, the termite maze, the cave, the huge spider, bigger-than-life-size ants and veggies. All the kids had a blast!

All the kids in a piratey pose in the castle courtyard.

Cake Time! Pirates get hungry, too!
I wanted to surprise my boys, so I decorated their cakes when they were sleeping and presented their cakes during the party. They were so excited and happy. They almost didn't want to cut and eat their cakes....almost! heheh

Jackson & Jeremiah made out like Pirates! Their friends were way too generous! They are thrilled with everything they received.

Jenna was so happy that her good friend, Eryn came to the party. They've only been friends for a few weeks, but they enjoy each other's company very much. Jenna's eyes just light up when she sees her friend Eryn. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they both love playing with "My Little Ponies". hehehe

A wonderful photo of Jax and Jem with their special buddy, Laura.
