Snow! Yet again!

Ok, I'm beginning to worry more about global warming and the health of our planet. This odd New Mexico weather we've had since last summer (our flooding monsoons) and the incessant precipitation of snow this winter, is just not very desert-like, especially for my beloved New Mexico. This weather is just plain odd...and a little bit spooky.
All over the country they are dealing with odd and extreme weather, too. I cannot even imagine seeing snow fall for a week, like in New York recently, only to end up with 9-11 feet of snow, where I can only see snow out my windows, and nothing else. Bizarre!

Well, it started snowing this evening, and we've got about 4" right now...and it's still snowing. It's blowing in like a blizzard with the snow flying hard sideways, lodging in the screen of our windows.
I wonder what we'll wake up to tomorrow morning.

Here's a photo of my van, a little while after the snow first started falling.

This bush is in front of our covered front porch.
Jackson & Jeremiah called themselves "Snow Wars Trooper and Snow Vader"
I'm still amazed at how much they still play with these handmade costumes I created for them 2 years ago for Halloween. The storm trooper I made with duct tape on white sweatpants, and a milk jug for a mask. Jackson created a blaster from some Tinker Toys.

And Darth Vader was created using Daddy's old graduation gown. Jeremiah added a few new details today, including a bandana, a red sash, a baseball cap(he never goes anywhere without it, anyway) and a handmade white glove.
