A Lazy Arizona Day

Our friends left early yesterday morning for their drive up the coast to California followed by Oregon. We took the opportunity to kick back and relax, enjoy the gorgeous Arizona weather and views. All the critters here decided to join us in our lazy day, too.

Jax and Jem hung out in Ingo's room playing his Game Cube. It's such a treat that they haven't even unpacked our PS2 that we brought along with us.

Snowy, one of the cats here, took up residence on my bed while I lazed around reading a book that I brought with me from home.

Grover, the kitten, took a nap on Jenna's lap while she watched the Curious George movie.

Bindi, one of the dogs here, crawled up later to cuddle with Jenna, too.

Later, Jenna and I went outside to enjoy the views and weather. Jenna likes swinging in 'The Egg' (the Ikea swing)on the front porch.
Arnold built this beautiful house 5 years ago for his family. (He is building a really nice Guest House, a little way from the main house, right now, too) Funny thing about this house. It's virtually the same unique color as my own house in New Mexico! I call my house, "The Butterscotch House" because of it's special color. I feel quite at home here in Arizona
