Today we visited the Sweetwater Wetlands, a wastewater treatment and effluent area, where many birds and other animals call home. We were here to search for 3 letterboxes. We saw many ducks, songbirds, a packrat, turtles, and even a snake. Funny that the stamp inside the letterbox we finally found, wasn't of a snake, but a Ruddy Duck!
We watched this snake cross slowly over the trail.
