Web Rangers

Jackson and Jeremiah have been very interested in National Parks and Monuments since we've been visiting a few lately. While we were on top of Sandia Mountain, they discovered they have a Jr. Ranger program and wanted to get involved to earn badges and certificates.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to travel and visit all of the parks they want to visit fast enough, so.......Enter" Web Rangers!!!

Web Rangers is a National Park Service program operated online, so that
kids (or anyone interested) can complete the activities, learn about our Nation's Parks and Wilderness, and earn badges and online awards. Click here for more about Web Ranger

Both boys are totally into this, but Jeremiah especially spends hours reading, researching, playing, and learning.
There are many subjects, including animals/wildlife, park rules/management, eco-systems/recycling, history, biology, water treatment and research, patriotism/diversity, and many many more!
Here are some of Jeremiah's badges and awards, and his printed Web Ranger card in front.
Mostly Jeremiah worked on his own, but sometimes Jackson joined in, too.
