New Driver

Jackson & Jeremiah have been itching to drive Daddy's new John Deere tractor. John has been cautious about letting them try it because of safety and also because he just loves cruising around on our acreage driving his big, powerful green machine. haha

But yesterday Jackson got his turn. After John mowed a small grassy side yard close to the house.
But first a couple pics of my happy cowpokes.

Jackson eagerly jumped on the John Deere and listened intently to Daddy's instructions. Jackson was escatic!
Daddy walked beside him just like he did when Jackson rode his bike alone for the first time.
And then Jackson was on his own. He is pretty intense and thrilled.
Happy kid!
Driving like a natural!
Jackson was like a wild tractor driver. If there was a blade of grass to be mowed...or a hill to conquer, he was on it!

Ha, great fun! How long before the boys realize it's work? I remember how excited I was to do grown-up chores until they officially became mine to do all the time. Great pics, use them to remind them how much fun driving the tractor can be. :)

Looks like so much fun! We are looking at tractors now, how much acreage are you mowing with it? We were told the 300 series would be too small for our needs, but I'm wondering if that is true.

I want a John Deere tractor! I really do. They are so cool. I am so envious.
