About a week ago last Friday our computer suffered some kind of glitch that erased our Internet Access, and even with hours of Tech help, we were not able to get it back to normal. So, we've been without computer access, except at the library. The Compaq is still under warranty, though, so it's just a matter of time involving getting it fixed.
Meanwhile at the OK Corral, we've been super busy with all sorts of stuff.
First, right after the computer stopped working, the kids and I all came down with some kind of aggressive virus that affected our stomachs, causing violent throwing up and frequent panicked bathroom visits. Fortunately, I had my gall bladder removed years ago,so I was spared the vomiting, but felt 24 hour nausea and had a few emergency bathroom visits. And mostly just spent 2 days in bed after the kids suffered through their own sicknesses.
Our typical Easter holiday celebrations were sort of a bust, since we were all too ill to eat any candy or chocolate. But the NM Easter Jack Rabbit did pay us a mischievious visit as usual, and he wound the separate yarn courses for each of the kids to wind their ways through, around, under, and over as they plucked the clues off of the yarn, and then ran to find the hidden eggs all over the house.
Jax, Jem and Jen still have baskets full of uneaten candy and unopened eggs at home, waiting until we all are feeling better and return from our AZ road trip.
So, jump ahead: Immediately after our viral horrors, our area was visited by Old Man Winter and about 2" of snow fell over our house. We woke up to a chilly snowy day.....
The evening before, when the snow first began to fall, the boys thought it was the perfect time to jump!
Jeremiah shivering in the snowflakes.
A photo taken later on while driving down through Corrales on our way to the library. It hadn't snowed much below 5,000 feet (we are above 5,000), but the Sandia Mountains were still snow cloud covered.
