This is FuFu, or rather Phyllis, which of course, she does not go by the name of. Early on when her first grandchildren were born, she didn't like the term Granny and noone could pronounce Phyllis properly, so it became "FuFu". So, that is what everyone calls her now. She is my Mother's sister, and because my Mother died when I was young, FuFu is more like Mother to me. Very special. I decided to give my daughter the name Phyllis as her middle name. When I looked up the name Jenna, it means "Little Bird", and the name Phyllis, means "Green Leaf"........So, my daughter is a "Little Bird on a Green Leaf", which has a beautiful, nature-filled sounds to it. Seems only appropriate with Jenna's love of nature, too.

Jenna's First Birthday
March 2004, Covina, California. Our entire California family and friends came to celebrate with us. This photo included Roger, my cousin's partner, whom Jenna became quite fond of during our visit. Roger came across as 'tough guy' on his motorcycle wearing a doo-rag and all the biker accessories. But he was just a huge softie with a heart of gold.Sadly, though he passed away from a brain tumor less than a year later from when this picture was taken.
