Twinville's Back!

I wrote about their abscence on July 3 in I miss Twinville and was feeling very down-in-the-dumps without them around. I'm feeling much better now and just wanted to shout out about it right here! Whoohooo!
My boys are home! Twinville's Back!
And here's another photo with all 3 of my kidlets. Jenna was probably more affected by Jax & Jem's abscence and was absolutely thrilled when she saw her brothers walking in the door again. It was so heartwarming watching all three of them hugging one another and being so happy to be together again. I suppose that's one of the best joys of being a parent, isn't it?

Baseball Boys
Both boys have been playing baseball, for several weeks now, on a local team here in our beautiful mountains. Jeremiah has had the opportunity to pitch, long a dream of his. And he's doing really well and still loves the game of baseball. Jackson started off sour on baseball, as his love is still lacrosse. But surprisingly, he has really taken off with his skills and confidance and is doing just as great as Jeremiah. So, I've got a few photos, taken by John, to share from a recent game:
Jackson in the dug-out.
Jeremiah in the outfield.

Silly Jackson doing his "I'm gonna steal bases" dance. hehe(click pic for larger view)
Jeremiah at bat.

End-of-game snacks are a favorite part of a baseball game, too.

Fresh Air
One of the reasons we moved to the country is so that our kids could have plenty of room to run and roam outside, and not spend all of their time indoors. Now that winter is over and the temps are getting warmer, my kids spend alot of time outside, especially on their basketball court.
How many kids are lucky enough to have a llama and goat audience?

Jenna is often found playing among and with the goats, sheep, and llamas, too.
Jenna with our Boer wether, Pepper. He adores Jenna and likes having her around.
When dusk falls, my kids are still outside squeezing every last moment of fun playing outdoors.
This is the way life should be for every child.....and adult.

Happy Easter!!
It's always important to eat the ears first on your chocolate bunny.

It's more fun to hunt for eggs with your siblings.

Rocks are for more than just climbing.

When you get older, finding money in your Easter Eggs is much better than candy.

If you don't like what you find in your plastic eggs, trade it for another goodie.

Happy Easter!!!!

V-Day Preparations
For the last two years, Jax and Jem decided they didn't want to partake in the commericalism of V-Day through swapping store-bought paper cards and exchanging them with people they either didn't know or didn't like. They felt like this mass exchange was very impersonal. You can read more with the link below:
Meaningful Valentine's Day
So, I was surprised with how easily I could talk them into giving this V-Day tradition another chance. (I don't think they have changed their stance on the card-swapping thing, though, but candy and treats played a big part in their change of HEART. hehe)
Jenna thoroughly enjoyed addressing all of her Valentine's cards this year. Even after she completed the 32nd card, she asked if there were more to do!

Jenna was very proud of herself.
Jem decided to make sports related drawings on the "To:" section of his cards.
Jenna helped Jackson by sealing his cards with the heart stickers.

Happy Birthday X Two!
Jackson and Jeremiah celebrated their birthdays last weekend. We had a small family thing at home but at the end of the month they'll have a couple of their best friends over for a sleep-over party.
Daddy brought home a huge ice cream cake!

Jax and Jem (and Jen) were THRILLED!

Happy Birthday Boys! (I'm actually amazed now that both of these boys were inside of my belly for NINE months! Wow!
Both boys were poised to blow out their candles...but Jen flew in and helped them out (well, actually blew out all of the candles herself! hehe)
So after re-lighting the candles, Jax and Jem gave it a second try! Yay!
Time for Presents! Jem got the RC airplane he wanted!!
Jackson was so excited to receive his new mega monster rocket! He's also working on a rocketry project in 4-H now. So anything to do with rockets and he is there!
Excited about their new binoculars! They also got the Transformer's PS2 game they had been asking for. Talk about happy! What a blast!

Big Brothers are Special
Jenna already knows how wonderful it is to have twin brothers. They have always doted on her, played with her, helped her, supported her, and protected her. She knows she is doubly loved by her brothers.
Jeremiah and Jenna enjoy an especially affectionate, close bond. Jeremiah has alot of patience with Jenna and will read to her, help her with any task, and enjoys spending time with Jenna.
Jeremiah has a very gentle spirit and a caring, loving heart. He would make a wonderful Daddy one day.
Oftentimes I will happen upon one of their special moments and have to grab my camera just to make sure I can 'capture the moment'.
Jeremiah enjoys giving Jenna piggy-back rides and horsey rides. Jenna enjoys it even more.
Jeremiah wanted to show Jenna some of her favorite shows' websites, from the 'Sprout' Channel.
Jenna likes the PigglyWinks, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper, Caillou, Berenstein Bears, and Thomas the Train.

Cozy Holiday Moments
These are the moments Moms everywhere, live for.

Jackson and Jenna were both up early snuggling on the sofa and giggling together.

Everyday I am so grateful to God for the gifts He has given me. My family is so special and I love them so much. And I am so happy that we were not only blessed with twins, but also chose to have just one more child to join our family.
John and I were both lonely "Only-Children", and I can't imagine how sad it would be if we had only had one child. Having 3 children is perfect for our family. Our sons and daughter are so loving and caring towards each other and we know they could never imagine life without their special brothers and sisters, either.
