Painting Power

Some days we spend most of the day in our jammies and just play with art. This day we decided we wanted to paint. Jenna wanted to paint on paper and the boys wanted to paint their wood working projects.
Jeremiah painted his napkin holder as a gift for a family member for Christmas, as well as painting two of his birdhouses and his wooden boat. I happily painted his wooden race car.

Hard at work...patient and focused.

Jackson painted his toolbox, birdhouse, boat and the rustic lazy susan he made from wood scraps.

Jenna created 7 separate painted works of art on paper.

Jenna said, "Look Mama! Take my picture!"

After Jenna's bath, she asked to paint some more!

Jenna's completed artwork on the kitchen cabinets.

Jenna was so thrilled to see all of her artwork displayed. And it makes the kitchen look so cheerful and colorful, too.
