There are not many cities where people are so kind and generous. Rio Rancho is one of those kind, generous, and neighborly places. For example: Last night our Enchanted Hills neighborhood, with over 2500 residences, experienced an accidental gas shut-off. We were fairly lucky because it didn't affect our heat, though it did for some. Thankfully it wasn't too cold last night.
But this morning, Public Service Company of NM sent out techs to each house in our neighborhood to assist anyone needing help in getting their heater and hot water heater re-lit. The nice man who came to our house told us he was asked by PNM to come down all the way from Chama, NM to help get our 2500 neighbors hooked back up with gas again, especially since it is a day before Thanksgiving. Now isn't that nice? Rio Rancho is a great place to live.
