Cottonwood Homeschool Ice Skating, NM

One of the homeschool groups we are members of, planned an ice skating trip to Blades. This was our sons' first time ice skating. They were rough starting out, but quickly caught on and were helping other kids by the end of our skate time. That's just the way my boys are, though. They learn things easily and are always helpful to others.

When we arrived in New Mexico, we quickly got involved in some of the area homeschool groups. One huge difference between Rock Hill, SC and Albuquerque, NM is that here in Albuquerque there many homeschool groups available to join, there are larger numbers of homeschooling families and vast opportunities made available to the homeschooling community.
In Rock Hill, we basically had 2 groups, a Christian group and a Secular group. Things were much simpler and it was easy to make close friends in a closer, more tight knit group.
But there are amazing benefits from having all of the choices here in New Mexico and the opportunities are endless. There seems to be major support for homeschooling here and often it seems that everywhere you go you meet someone who homeschools.
