A fellow homeschooler set up this field trip and it was quite fun and interesting. The kids got a full tour of the dealership and car repair area. They learned about tires, how to operate the lift sytems, about filling automobile fluids and how to change a tire. The Mazda folks also gave the kids a snack and all sorts of cool goodies, like a futuristic clock/calculator, pens, paper pads, drink coolers, and more. Whoever thought that going to a car repair place could be anymore fun than visiting the dentist for a cavity? hehehe
