Ok. It started out innocently enough. I mentioned to my kidlets that I was going to make sopapillas and if they wanted to, they could help. Jenna was thrilled as usual. She loves to help me around the house and in the kitchen, and is pretty darn good at it, too.Jackson & Jeremiah, on the other hand, start off gung-ho and tickled pink to help in any kind of kitchen endeavor...but then something...SNAPS!
And the mischief and mayhem begins!
Well, actually, this time I was the one that started it with just one little wisp of flour puffed onto Jeremiah's face. hehe
But within minutes, just about everything in our kitchen was covered in a white, powdery dusting of flour.
Jenna thought we were nuts and just kept kneading the dough, as if we didn't exist...at least until one of her brothers doused her with flour! Then she said, "Stop that, brothers!"
So back to making sopapillas we went...and eating them, too! With lots of gooey honey. Yum!
