Workshops

For the past several months Jackson and Jeremiah have been asking to go to Lowes and Home Depot for their monthly Woodworking projects. They just love using hammers and screwdrivers and building useful and fun stuff out of wood!
Lowes provides an apron, a sew-on patch and a certificate with each individual project. And Home Depot gives out an apron and a collectible pin with each project. The boys are really into collecting these patches and pins and attaching them to their aprons each month.
Sometimes they don't always want to construct the project at the home improvement center workshop, though, so both Lowes and Home Depot give the boys their kits to assemble at home. How cool is that?!

And it's been great for the boys and John, too, because they always plan these workshops together as Father/Sons time.
