Sharon & Ken have a beautiful home beneath the pines, behind the Manzano mountains. They invited our entire group to their home for a BBQ after our Hawkwatch/hiking excursion and it was a great way to end the wonderful day together. Ken grilled some tasty burgers and sausages and we all brought food to share, too. All of the kids played together inside and outside. There was a tree house, a trampoline, lots of trees, friendly dogs and a play court. A kid's paradise!
I fell in love with Sharon's gorgeous free-range chickens. I am so looking forward to having our own one day. Most of the husbands were at the BBQ, too. It was so nice to see some of the couples. John is looking forward to joining the fun at one of the next events, too.
This time, he was having Father/Daughter time at home, which is very special to both of them. Everyone had such a great time at the BBQ. Can't wait to do it again!
