We spent the afternoon exploring Corrales' Harvest Festival, riding hay wagons, appreciating the works created from local artists, and enjoying the agricultural environment of one of our favorite places.Several of our friends also spent the day in Corrales,too which made it even more fun to stop, chat and visit with them. It made the event feel even more friendly with a small town attitude. John was finally able to meet up with our friends Sharon and her husband Rob, as well as Laura and her husband Ken. We also saw my friend Stacey who was passing by in another hay wagon. And the boys were thrilled to discover one of their VBS leaders preparing to ride with us in the same hay wagon!That's her, Donna, sitting beside Jeremiah in the hay wagon.
We enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful art, especially the handmade sculptured flowers. They reminded us of the flowers from Munchkin Land in the Wizard of Oz. The motorcycle mouse reminded the boys of their Papaw, who owns a Honda GoldWing motorcycle.
