Blizzard??

It's been snowing here since early this morning and the weather reports say that 'This snow storm is just getting started" and that we should expect it to snow until tomorrow around 5pm! We already have about 8-9" where we are and the snow is coming down in sheets.

Here's our house tonight. You can see our friendly snowman, Flakey, out front.
Now that's a BIG snow ball!!
Another picture of our house. We love the way the Christmas lights glow and are reflected through the snow.

Hi Lisa had a great time reading your blog. Loved reading about the little lights in bags. Also will have to remember that snow ice cream. Though could of used that recipe more when we were living in Reno Nv. Now that we are back in the Pacific Northwest we get more rain.

Nice to hear from you Cher. The farolitos are so pretty and simple and such a traditional thing here. Wish you could come to NM for a visit! We'd be happy to show you around.

ps. I had to make 3 batches of snow ice cream for my family from these snowfalls! If I get it just right, it reminds me of vanilla custard. Yum!
Take care,
