Sleeping Princess

In November, when we flew out to Spartanburg, SC for the case mediation, our attorney's nanny, Miss Lou, cared for our kids while we were 'in-session'. She touched our lives deeply in just the one day that the kids and John and I got to know her.
Strange how some people can do that, and in such a brief amount of time....
My kids were so enamored with this loving, gracious, kind-hearted black lady that they asked if they could call her 'Nana Lou'. She has felt like family from the very start and we have been keeping in touch ever since. I handmade a scarf and hat for Nana Lou for Christmas. And for the kids' birthdays she sent them hoody shirts for Jax and Jem and a beautiful princess blanket and pillow for Jenna.

Jenna adores Nana Lou and has been cuddling up with the blanket and pillow since it arrived last week.
