Jenna Turns Four!!

Jenna turned 4 years old yesterday! Gosh! What a cliche, but it's true! "Where has the time gone?!"
Seems like just yesterday that my little daughter was safely tucked away growing inside of me...and now, here she is 4 years old! Wow!

We celebrated quietly at home with our family. We are planning a 'friend party' later in the month when we can have it at a local park. Jenna was very excited about her birthday and enjoyed us singing to her and giving her special attention, too.

Our family has a thing for ice cream cakes, so that's what we have for our 'family
cake'. I'll be baking a special homemade cake for her 'friend-birthday'....with extra frosting just for my little sugar-hound! In fact Jenna would probably be happiest without the cake, and just a can full of frosting instead! hehe

Blowing out her candles and making a wish!

Waiting for her cake to be cut so she can have a slab!

Jenna, very excited to see her My Little Pony "Ponyville" Birthday Ponies set.

Jenna's new Water/Sand Wheel

Jenna couldn't wait to take it outside to play in the sand. We spent several hours outside playing, especially since the weather was in the upper sixties.

Jenna waving from the top of her climbing structure.

It's time to slide!

Playing with all of her plastic dinosaurs and animals is a favorite pasttime.

Jenna was even more excited to try out the WaterWheel in the bathtub!

We saved some of our gift cards from Christmas and bought Jenna her very first bike. She has been asking for her own bike for several months and was very excited to find this bike on our front porch waiting for her to hop on and ride.

The bike is still a bit big for her, but by summer she should 'fit' it a little better. John was going to buy a smaller bike but wanted to be sure she wouldn't outgrow it so soon. It's so difficult buying her clothes, shoes, anything regarding size because she is not 'typical' for her age.

Jax and Jem joined Jenna for some bike-time fun.
