After letterboxing and hiking, we drove over to the IMAX Theater to watch "Ride Around The World", a movie about Cowboy History and Geography which was very appropriate for us after driving through the Cowboy Country of Texas for 2 weeks!
The movie was beauitfully made and a few times brought tears to my eyes and made my heart soar, especially watching the breathtaking galloping horses and expansive landscape scenery.
After the movie we drove up the hill to spend a couple hours exploring the International Space History Museum(Click here). We were given a personal tour about what it's like to live in Space, by Museum volunteer, Charles Farrant, a fascinating Navy Veteran with a history of Space Training and Education. He also has a captivating sense of humor that caused all 5 of our family members to sit in rapt attention to every word he shared with us.
Afterwards, we took the self-guided tour and learned about meteorites, missiles, rocketry, astronauts, astronomy, Nuclear Weapons and the Trinity site, Satellite Communications, Space Travel and so much more! We had a a great day at the Space History museum.
