Netherwood Park~Letterboxing

We did a bit of letterboxing in Albuquerque yesterday. Our Santa Fe letterbox friends, LionsMane and Astro-D adopted and re-hid a new letterbox in Netherwood park, a box we had found earlier this year. They included the old stamp, but also recarved a new stamp, too. And what a fun stamp! A 2-part stamp with a trunk and make your own tree/leaf stamp, which was a big hit with me and the kids.

Jenna has a dislike, bordering on fear, of leaves that blow around on the ground, so this stamp brought her some fun and distraction over that fear.
We also enjoyed a beautiful picnic under the huge Sycamores and played on the grassy hills in Netherwood park.
