Einstein on Education

Einstein was a very wise man. I wish he was still alive and doing public speaking engagements across the country. Maybe he'd have better success at changing the ways of public education?

"It is... nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holycuriosity of inquiry; for this delicate little plant, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom; without this it goes to wreak and ruin. It is a very grave mistake to think that the enjoyment of seeing and searching can be promoted by means of coercion and a sense of duty."
--Albert Einstein

"I don't have to know everything, I just have to know where to find it when I need it." Albert Einstein

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"
~Albert Einstein

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." Einstein
