Jackson & Jeremiah have been wanting to sleep outside on the trampoline for most of the summer, but just about every evening we could depend on a thunder storm and/or rain, so it was not such a great idea....until last night!
All 3 kids lugged all their blankets, pillows and stuffed critters out to the trampoline and curled up to watch the sunset redden Sandia Mountain and then ooohed and aaahed over the bright sparkly stars over head, seemingly so close that they felt they could reach out and touch.
In the end they decided not to spend the entire night outside because the temps dropped pretty low and they couldn't keep warm. It's been getting very cold this week, in the low 50s. It feels like Autumn is coming! And the Harvest Festivals and Balloon Fiesta are only a few short weeks away!
