Jackson and Jenna Flying a Plane:Investigating wind speed/direction and lift
Jackson was teaching me how this display works. He is into anything that involves photography and imaging. I was quite impressed at this display with his knowledge and excitement
This was SO fun! We decided to get silly on the floor of the optical illusion mirrored room. We tried all sorts of crazy positions and got some really unique illusions, too
Jackson loves music. He figured out how to make these really interesting swirly, twisting notes on this instrument by sliding the tuners up and down as he strummed. It was quite eerie sounding
Laser Directing Activity
Laser Writing using pen light lasers on a special white board.

We had some fun playing in the room where this display is. The camera is a heat sensor device and works by picking up traces of heat and cold and displaying it on the screen. Hot areas appear more opaque and light, while cold areas look solid and dark. We got a kick out of rubbing the frozen ice pack on our faces and clothes to see how 'dirty' we appeared on screen. Jackson and Jeremiah applied their ice pack like make-up and their images looked like they were wearing blush and lipstick!
It was also interesting to hold up a balloon and see that we could see right through it (warm air inside) while we could not see through a clear piece of plexiglass on the screen.
