John's 42nd birthday was the other day, and even though he worked 12 hours at his Security job, and we didn't have any money to celebrate our buy him a gift, I at least wanted to make it special in some small way. We had received a package of cake mix and some Halloween Frosting at the Food Pantry last month and I had held onto for some reason. So, I pulled it out and made John a Birthday/Halloween cake, while the kids made their Daddy some precious homemade cards. When John got home later that night, he was very happy and appreciative to have his own birthday cake, but I cannot wait until our situation changes one day, so we can actually buy presents for each other again for holidays and special events.
Anyway, for now, Happy Birthday Boo Bear!!
