BioPark~Fantasy Gardens

Last week, we played for a few hours in the Children's Fantasy Garden at the BioPark. Why they call it the "Children's Garden", I do not know. I love it there!

Children feel small all the time, but adults don't often get that magical opportunity. We're always big with huge responsibilities that keep us from feeling magical moments and enjoying fantastic fantasies.

I love visiting the Fantasy Garden, breezing by the 'smoke' breathing dragon, and running though the deep dark caves filled with huge mushrooms and giant worm tunnels. I always giggle when skipping underneath the monstrous-sized buzzing bee cavorting above the larger-than-life-size potted plants and watering can with dripping water.
I enjoy getting lost in the termite mound maze and coming upon the large ants blocking my way. Screaming below the scary spider in her web, 5000 times bigger than real life is loads of fun! Sliding down the log slide...over and over...can't be beat! The humongous walk-through, bright-orange pumpkin always delights, and I can never get enough of the Bamboo Forest and the bigger than life-size veggies in the garden.
I love being small, if only in the "Children's Fantasy Garden".
