I took this picture last night showing 3 1/2" of snow accumulation. We had a few more flurries through the night, though, and ended up with another 3/4" of snow by morning.

I just had to take a picture of the beautiful twisty shape of this juniper and the contrast between it's green needles and grey branches against the white snow and brilliant blue sky.

Well, I can't see the Sandia Mountains from this house, but snow-covered South Mountain is an enjoyable sight, too. (as seen from our pasture fence)
Jenna had a super time playing in the snow this morning.
Jenna and I hiked around our 3 acres making snowballs, eating snow, building little snow critters, laughing at the snow-silly llamas galloping around, and petting the horses next door.
