Lori bought all 3 boys Legos Bionicle Toa kits, which they wanted to start building right away. John was concerned that they'd lose the pieces and the food would come before the boys could finish building. Wrong! Ha ha! Within 15 minutes Jackson, Jeremiah and Max had completed their Toas and were playing happily at the table with them. Max and my boys immediately connected with their shared interests and were instant buddies, even though they hadn't seen each other for almost 2 years.Lori spoiled Jenna with an Animal Doctor Barbie that included some plastic animals. She happily played with them during the entire meal. Jenna also enjoyed Lisa's two girls and Amanda very much, especially when Amanda showed Jenna all of her pet pictures on her cell phone and sang some fun songs to her.
Amanda broke her arm last year, the same arm that Jackson had broken last year, too! Of course, they had to compare scars, the healing woes, and the pain of their injuries. We enjoyed seeing Amanda this visit. She has become such a beautiful, joyful, intelligent 10 yr old young lady.
